Youth First is a Lewisham-based charity supporting young people in the borough through youth clubs and street-based intervention from the ages 8-19 (up to 25 with additional needs). One in 10 of the young people that Youth First works with are classed as vulnerable by Lewisham council. 

 

Youth First is therefore a charity dedicated to putting the Lewisham youth first. Lewisham is one of London's most disadvantaged boroughs, and Youth Clubs and mentors are essential to the positive development of young people in the area.

 

Youth first helped support the Deptford Youth Club which both Zohar and his sister Sapphire attended whilst growing up. Zohar's youngest siblings, Eden and Nadir still attend Youth First.
